Visual Rationale
The branding for Sorensen Living Co. started with the inspiration of the founder’s first name, Heather, and the interior design business. We wanted to incorporate these into the brand and create an elevated and identifiable brand. The main logo includes a heather flower, as a reference to the founder Heather, and is paired with a retro-feel font. We created a secondary logo that includes a clean house shape to represent the brand’s business focus, and the brand mark paired the heather flower and house shape together. By focusing on a strong brand symbol that is easily recognizable and paired with retro-inspired but sophisticated colours, we created a refined & playful interior design brand that stands out in the home building niche.
